Jungkook of BTS is known to love anime love and he is proud of it
The Golden Maknae has no shortage of recommendations of anime shows, sharing his favorites during his Weverse Live sessions
If you’re curious what the K-pop idol has been watching, here are some of the titles he previously mentioned and where they are available for streaming
One of Jungkook’s favorite animes is “Jujutsu Kaisen.” The artist is often seen doing Gojo Satoru’s domain expansion gesture at concerts
The story follows Yuji Itadori, who swallows a cursed relic. He then becomes the host of the King of Curses, and becomes a secret sorcerer battling monsters born from humanity’s darkest emotions

Another favorite is “Cyberpunk Edgerunners.” Jungkook changed his Instagram profile picture to David Martinez and his highlights cover to Lucy from the series. He also sang and played “I Really Want to Stay at Your House” during live sessions

Jungkook is also a fan of “One Piece.” During soundcheck in Las Vegas, an ARMY held a sign asking who his favorite character in the series is, and he answered “Zoro,” or Roronoa Zoro
“One Piece,” both the animated and live-action series, tells the story of Monkey D. Luffy and the Straw Hats. Luffy and his crew search for the legendary treasure known as “One Piece” to become the next King of the Pirates

Jungkook is a known fan of the sports anime “Haikyu!!” He was spotted watching the series on a plane, and even copied the volleyball movements in an episode of “Run BTS.” He also said in an Instagram Story that his favorite character is Tobio Kageyama

My Hero Academia
Jungkook has also publicly shared his love for “My Hero Academia” and said during a live session that his favorite character is Bakugou Katsuki
The anime follows Izuku Midoriya, who wants to be a superhero. He enrolls in a prestigious hero academy and learns what it is like to be one, and is granted powers by the strongest superhero
