Vikrant Massey has reportedly joined Ajay Devgn`s action thriller Chauhaan and will play a layered grey character. Meanwhile, Vijay`s Jana Nayagan continued its strong run, collecting Rs 116.2 crore net in India during its four-day opening weekend

We’ve got a peek into the world of Batwara 1947with its teasers and songs. Now, it’s time for leading man Sunny Deol and producer Aamir Khan to unveil the trailer of the Partition drama. Turns out, the film will have two trailer launch events – first in Jaipur, followed by another in Mumbai. According to Bollywood Hungama, it will first be unveiled at Raj Mandir, a popular single-screen cinema in Jaipur, on July 28. The venue is apparently a good luck charm for Sunny, who wanted to start Batwara 1947’s journey from there. On July 29, Aamir, Sunny, and director Rajkumar Santoshi will host another event for the Mumbai audience.

If you watched Vikrant Massey’s latest offering, Musafir Café, you know romance comes easily to him. But is he as smooth in action? We’ll find out soon. Rumours suggest that the actor has been roped in for Ajay Devgn’s upcoming action thriller, Chauhaan. According to a Bollywood Hungama report, the actor will play a layered grey character. The report also stated that Vikrant was blown away by the script and immediately said yes to the role.

A false moment is a rarity in Pankaj Tripathi’s performances. But off screen, he grapples with challenges like any other actor. Appearing on Shekhar Suman’s chat show, Shekhar Tonite, Pankaj revealed that he struggled with the portrayal of former Indian Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee in Main Atal Hoon (2024). The actor said, “I read a lot of books on Atalji, saw his old speeches. It was challenging because I am bad at mimicry. So, I was in a dilemma about how much I will be able to mimic Atalji.”
Going out with a bang
Jana Nayagan, touted to be Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay’s swansong, has made a strongimpact at the box office. The action thriller reportedly collected R23.85 in the domestic market on July 26, taking the four-day weekend tally to R116.2 crore. The film’s gross collection in India has reportedly surpassed R136 crore. Jana Nayagan is directed by H Vinoth.
