Fixing it again
Is Spirit getting another rewrite? Rumours suggest filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga is reworking the film’s much-discussed interval block. According to a news report, Sandeep has taken a short break to rewrite the crucial sequence because the original version wasn’t delivering the impact he wanted.
The gossip mills claim the interval centres on Prabhas’s character losing his best friend, leading into a five-minute stretch of intense emotional and aggressive scene. Sandeep has often spoken about the importance of powerful interval blocks, citing Baahubali 2 as a game-changer. For now, though, there is no official confirmation of the rewrite, and the film remains scheduled for March 5, 2027.
Part of the cult
It has become a cult show, and Ahsaas Channa is a fan too. The actor has now joined the third instalment of JioHotstar’s Asur, which stars Arshad Warsi, Barun Sobti, Ridhi Dogra, Anupriya Goenka, Vishesh Bansal, and Shweta Basu Prasad. The makers are eyeing a mid-2027 release, with Gaurav Shukla who wrote the first two seasons, at the helm.

“It feels surreal to have this opportunity to work alongside some of the most talented actors. Among everything else, I promise that Asur 3 will take the thrill and intensity several notches,” Ahsaas said in an interview with Variety.
No time to chill
Still recovering from his recent knee surgery, Kartik Aaryan is on a flight to London for his film with Shimit Amin, Captain India. The actor posted a picture with the shooting draft and wrote, “VABB to EGLL Captain India.” Kartik injured himself while performing an action sequence for Kabir Khan’s sports drama. Despite being advised bed rest, the actor clearly has no time to chill.
