After years of waiting, Hasbro finally offers the Marvel Legends line, inspired by the Inhumans from Marvel Comics. The latest products include Blackbolt and Triton, Medusa and Gorgon, and previously released Crystal and Lockjaw. Karnak was also released in the Disney+ Smart Hulk (figure assembly) wave. Hasbro has produced Black Bolt and Medusa many times in the past, but these new figures are simply better and make the previous ones (for the most part) obsolete.
Thank you to BigBadToyStore for sending us the Hasbro Marvel Legends Series 6-inch Medusa & Gorgon – Inhumans 2-Pack Figure for review.

Launch: November 2025
Medusa and the Gorgon is packaged in a window box with artwork and logos on the front, including Marvel Legends, Marvel, and Inhuman logos, images and logos on the sides, and comic-inspired artwork, logos, and descriptions on the back. The figure comes in a plastic tray for safe storage along with its accessories.

Medusa has an all-new sculpt with the most comic-inspired resemblance ever given to a character, an improvement over previous Marvel Legends. She wears a comic-inspired purple and black costume, a mask that covers half of her face, and purple and black gloves and boots. Most of her arms and legs remain naked, and the mask covers only the top half and sides of her head, excluding her eyes and ears. Medusa’s hair hangs almost all the way to the ground, but this long hair is back-heavy, so her legs must be posed at a 45-degree angle or bent so her hair touches the ground to support the weight of her back.
Medusa’s articulation includes a ball-jointed head, ball-hinged shoulders, swivel biceps, double-hinged elbows, swivel-hinged wrists, ball-jointed torso, ab crunch, ball-jointed hips, swivel thighs, double-hinged knees, and hinged and rocker ankles.

Medusa’s head comes with two types of expression parts, allowing you to enjoy two different expressions. Her hair is long and red, and she has mutant powers that allow her to grow her hair and control its movement. The hair is washed red and most of it is individually sculpted. The detail on the face is also wonderful, and the two attractive expressions are the smile and the androgynous expression. The eyes and lips are painted and look very nice.

Medusa includes two sets of interchangeable hands: one with closed fists and one with sculpted open fingers. Depending on the pose, the heavy back hair may make it difficult to stand correctly. Therefore, try to bend your knees or place your feet at a 45-degree angle.

Medusa is an improvement over its predecessor, with a better likeness, better sculpting, and more attention to detail.

Gorgon makes his debut in the line and stands approximately 9 inches tall, making him one of the tallest figures in this year’s line. He wears a comic-inspired costume with knee pads, bracelets on his wrists, and a crown on his head in multiple shades of brown, beige, black, and gray. The cloak, which is wrinkled and sculpted around the upper torso, is another part, with a sculpted texture, and a dark brown collar around the head. His feet and legs are similar to a bull’s, with hooves, and he has the ability to create violent shock waves comparable to a powerful earthquake by stomping the ground. Strength and durability have also been improved.
Gorgon’s articulation includes a ball-jointed head and hinged neck, ball-hinged shoulders, swivel biceps, double-hinged elbows, swivel-hinged wrists, ab crunch, swivel hips, ball-jointed hips, swivel thighs, double-hinged knees, swivel calves, and hinged and rocker ankles.

Gorgon’s head sculpt closely resembles his comic appearance, with brown sculpted hair, a gray crown, a black mask surrounding the eyes, white eyes, painted lips and white teeth.

Gorgon includes two sets of interchangeable hands (fisted, right open grip, left neutral) and a mace with green translucent plastic and a gray handle. The mace can also be placed in the right open grip hand.

The Inhumans have been long awaited to appear in Marvel Legends, with Hasbro providing the core members of the team, and Black Bolt and Triton have also been released, but they don’t appear in the gallery (and aren’t in our hands yet).
Overall, Medusa and Gorgon are great figures that are very similar to the originals and have a lot of nice details. This is an essential release for the Inhumans, Fantastic Four, and Marvel collections, and fans are looking forward to these new offerings. Get this set and additional products now at BigBadToyStore.
