Gwyneth Paltrow‘s list of honorees is getting longer and longer.
After theMarty Supremeactress reportedly began sending out invitations for an upcoming dinner party in honor of OpenAI founderSam Altman, she addressed critics with parodied versions of the supposed invites.

Online users described the alleged event, which places a spotlight on the AI pioneer—whose company developed ChatGPT—as “tone-deaf” and described Paltrow as “a villain” for the move.
Although the Goop founder didn’t directly address the speculation in a statement, she did replicate the invitations in an Aug. 20 Instagram post featuring different fictional honorees: AI lifelike doll M3GAN from the eponymous 2022 horror movie,Sex and the CitycharacterSamantha Jones, Shrek, Jessica Rabbit and comedianCourtney O’Donnell’s viral meme Chanty Beluga.

The 53-year-old has been a strong proponent of AI, previously revealing that her wellness company has been embracing the next phase of technology.

I’ll upload information, and I can ask it a million questions. I’ve been a few of these, and I find them incredibly helpful. Ihaveone around health data, I have one for Goop kitchen, I have one for friends’ health. I’m totally on it a lot.”

“The train’s left the station,” she explained at the Meltwater Summer in New York City in May. “We’re in a time of incredible upheaval.”
However, she emphasized that there is a time and a place for the tool.
