Gordon Ramsay’s new reality TV series on Netflix gets a promising update. The show debuted in February, featuring the popular chef’s journey to launch his latest culinary experience in London.
According to a new Variety report, Netflix has renewed Being Gordon Ramsay for a second season. The documentary series will return to the streamer next year. Production for the sophomore season has already begun.
In addition to Chef Ramsay’s show, Netflix has also renewed several other popular shows in its roster. Sci-fi anthology series Black Mirror will return with Season 8, the streamer has confirmed. Additionally, Neil Forsyth’s drama Legends has also received a green light for Season 2.
Other notable U.K. shows returning for new seasons on Netflix include Supacell, House of Guinness, and Black Doves. Fans can also look forward to the upcoming installments of reality shows like Formula 1: Drive to Survive, Love is Blind U.K., At Home with the Furys, and The Rest is Football.
What to expect from Gordon Ramsay’s return to Netflix?
“Gordon Ramsay is busier than ever,” the official synopsis of the show reads. “With restaurants to run, a 25-year anniversary to mark and a global brand to oversee, Gordon’s schedule is packed to the brim. Alongside the business empire, his family remains his greatest priority.”
Season 1 of the show premiered on Netflix on February 18, with all six episodes. It follows Chef Ramsay over nine months as he prepares to launch his most ambitious restaurant project to date, opening five dining experiences in London’s 22 Bishopsgate, the City of London’s tallest building.
With filming underway, Being Gordon Ramsay Season 2 is expected to arrive in 2027. Episode details remain under wraps.
Being Gordon Ramsay is produced by Studio Ramsay Global, with the iconic chef also serving as executive producer alongside Amanda Westwood and Lisa Edwards. The show is directed by Dionne Bromfield.
