Supports automatic translation of 15 languages from 1:1 to fandom channels
Genesis Nest, a software development company specializing in AI, will introduce “CHATPLANET,” a chat solution that stably handles real-time messages even in large-scale simultaneous access environments, and will target the high-load chat market such as fandom platforms and live services.
Chatplanet is an enterprise solution that provides real-time chat functions in the form of APIs. It supports one-on-one conversations and group chats, as well as large-scale fandom channels where artists and many fans participate at the same time. It can be applied to a variety of services, especially in environments where traffic surges at certain times, such as artist fandom platforms and live broadcasting and commerce.
Genesis Nest developed Chatplanet to reduce the functional and operational constraints of external SaaS chat services and the burden of development and maintenance due to self-building. Based on the experience gained by designing and operating large-scale fandom chat services, the chat function can be flexibly configured and expanded according to the characteristics of the service.
The channel structure may be flexibly designed according to the purpose of the service. It can be used in various fields that require real-time communication, such as entertainment, game, and sports fandom, as well as customer counseling, second-hand transactions, online education, and communities, by supporting from general one-on-one group conversations to fandom-type 1:N large-scale chats involving multiple users. In addition, it provides functions necessary for service operation such as push notification, reaction, filtering banned words, and blocking and reporting users. It also supports automatic translation of 15 languages and reuse of translation results to help smooth communication between global users.
Chatplanet has already been applied to the global fandom platforms of artists belonging to THE BLACKLABEL, such as “DAY OFF” of the All-Day Project and “Churrrrr” of MEOVV. It supports functions specialized in services for fans around the world, such as operating and managing chat by artist, applying emoticons, announcing managers and artists, and sending event messages.
Cost efficiency is also a strength. If the chat system is built on its own, continuous costs and manpower will be invested in initial planning and development as well as maintenance, server expansion, and failure response. Genesis Nest explained that it can reduce initial introduction costs by up to 80% compared to self-deployment because it does not just provide APIs but supports the entire process of building services tailored to customer needs.
Lee Dong-soo, CEO of Genesis Nest, said, “Large-scale real-time chat should enable stable message delivery and service operation even when users flock,” adding, “We will help companies reduce the burden of building chat infrastructure and implement real-time communication functions tailored to the characteristics of each service more efficiently.”
