Following an earlier report of sightings of unreleased Fortnite-themed controllers by GameSir, the accessory maker has now officially announced the special edition controllers. However, rather than just three, there are actually six controllers.

GameSir had previously announced that the controllers will be announced tomorrow, September 17, but seems to have changed its mind. Nevertheless, the Fortnite officially-licensed controllers include three variants each of the GameSir G8 Plus and GameSir X5 Lite for Xbox.

The GameSir G8 Plus Fortnite Edition controllers come with free emotes.

The GameSir G8 Plus Fortnite Edition is available in three colors — a yellow and blue Peely edition; a pink Cuddle Team Leader edition, and a black and green Victory Royale edition. All three have distinct designs and come in a special packaging that includes a redemption card for an in-game bonus item.

The Peely edition comes with a voucher for the Bully emote, while the Cuddle Team Leader edition comes with a redemption card for a Burpee emote. The Victory Royale edition comes with a Gun Show emote redemption card. The controllers also ship with 3 interchangeable stick caps of different designs and sizes, a GameSir sticker and card, and a 1.5m-long USB-C cable.

The controller is available to pre-order now for $89.99 and will ship in October. The standard G8 Plus is cheaper at $79.99 and is available on Amazon.

The GameSir X5 Lite for Xbox was announced a few weeks ago, arriving first in an Xbox 25th anniversary edition and then two plain colors. Now, GameSir has added three Fortnite editions. There’s a Durrr Burger edition, a Black Knight edition, and a Jonesy edition.

Like the other variants of the controller, these also connecte the MFi (Made for iPhone|iPad) certification, so you can use them with an iPhone or iPad with a USB-C port, provided they are no longer than 213mm

The GameSir X5 Lite for Xbox Fortnite Edition is also available in three variants.

The GameSir X5 Lite for Xbox – Fortnite Edition controllers cost $49.99, making them $5 more expensive than the Xbox 25th anniversary edition and the standard Black and White colors. They are available to pre-order on GameSir’s website.

Unfortunately, the Amazon listing says they are currently unavailable, but you might want to check later. GameSir has also not disclosed which free emotes buyers will get when they purchase the controllers.
