Gamepia will begin pre-orders for the physical package of Devil May Cry 5: Devil Hunter Edition for Nintendo Switch 2 on August 7. This definitive version of the action masterpiece, which has sold over 11 million copies worldwide, has been optimized to run at 60 FPS.

Gamepia (CEO Jung Jong-heon), in collaboration with CAPCOM ASIA, announced that pre-orders for the stylish action game Devil May Cry 5: Devil Hunter Edition for Nintendo Switch 2 will begin on August 7, 2026. The product officially supports Korean subtitles.

The story is set in the provincial city of Red Grave. An anomaly occurs when a massive tree pierces the heart of the city, its blood-sucking roots attacking the populace. Nero, a young man who makes his living as a demon hunter, heads to the scene in the ‘Devil May Cry’ mobile office trailer. Alongside weapon artisan Nico, Nero plunges into the heart of the chaos, armed with his ‘Devil Breaker’ prosthetic arm, his signature sword ‘Red Queen,’ and his revolver ‘Blue Rose,’ determined to reclaim his lost pride and stolen power.

This title is the definitive version of the action game, which has sold over 11 million copies globally, optimized for the Nintendo Switch 2. It delivers a smooth 60 FPS experience and responsive controls in both TV and handheld modes, allowing players to enjoy stylish combat anywhere. The ‘Bloody Palace’ mode, where players fight through layers of a maze against waves of powerful enemies, is also included for a deep action experience.

Additional content is also included as standard. This features ‘EX Color Packs’ for Nero, Dante, Nico, Lady, and Trish; special ‘Devil Breakers’ such as the ‘Mega Buster’ and ‘Gerbera GP01’; and Dante’s weapon, the ‘Cavaliere R.’ Furthermore, the game includes 12 iconic battle tracks from the DMC 1–4 series, ‘EX Stylish Voices,’ and premium live-action cutscene videos. Players can also enjoy the ‘DLC Early Unlock Special Complete Pack,’ which provides immediate access to four Super Character packs and Vergil’s battle BGM.

Pre-orders will be available starting August 7, 2026, through various online retailers in Korea, including Gamepia’s official shopping mall, Soprano. The official domestic release date is Friday, August 28, 2026. The publisher is CAPCOM CO., LTD., and the game is rated Mature (18+). Further information can be found on the official game website and Gamepia’s blog, X, Facebook, and Instagram.
