Gambling.com Group Rebrands as Grandstand Beyond Affiliate Marketing

    Article
    •July 24, 2026•
    iGaming, Industry News

Gambling.com Group has changed its corporate name to Grandstand, reflecting its expansion from an affiliate-led publishing business into a broader sports, gaming and entertainment technology company. The rebrand was announced on July 22, with the company’s shares beginning to trade on Nasdaq under the new ticker GRSD on July 23. Gambling.com will continue to operate as a consumer comparison and review brand within the wider group.

    Why Gambling.com Group Became Grandstand

According to the company’s official announcement, the former name no longer represented the full range of products and services developed since its July 2021 initial public offering.

Grandstand now describes itself as an “intelligence layer” serving consumers and commercial partners across sports, gaming and entertainment. Its operations combine consumer publishing with sports data, advertising technology, audience monetization and ticketing services.

Kevin McCrystle, chief executive officer and co-founder of Grandstand, said:

The new name Grandstand brings together the broad array of products and services in our portfolio, while also creating room for what we are building now and our long-term roadmap.

The corporate identity also separates the parent company from Gambling.com itself. The website will remain part of a consumer portfolio that includes Casinos.com, WhichBingo, BonusFinder, OddsJam and RotoWire.

    Portfolio Expands Beyond Performance Marketing

The change follows several years of investment outside the company’s original performance marketing model. Grandstand’s sports data division includes OpticOdds and RotoWire, which supply real-time odds, line movement, injury information and sports content. Its advertising business connects operators with relevant audiences through the group’s consumer publishing properties. Audience monetization is another important part of the new structure. Grandstand Partners provides technology and commercial support to media businesses, apps, online communities and influencers seeking to monetize their existing audiences.

This places the company within a wider shift in which affiliate publishers are building technology and service businesses around the audiences they have already developed. Publisher monetization can no longer depend only on measurable click-outs as search and discovery become more fragmented. The group has also expanded through acquisitions. Its purchase of Odds Holdings, the parent company of OddsJam, added subscription products, enterprise clients and sports data technology to the portfolio, a move intended to add recurring revenue streams outside the group’s established affiliate business.

What the Rebrand Says About Affiliate Growth

Grandstand has not abandoned performance marketing. Advertising and customer acquisition remain one of its four core partner solution areas, alongside sports data, audience monetization, and entertainment and tickets. The rebrand instead shows how a large affiliate publisher can use its traffic, content expertise and commercial relationships as the foundation for a more diversified company. Its earlier financial results and strategic expansion had already pointed toward this strategy, with acquisitions and technology products becoming more important to future growth.

For the wider affiliate sector, the change is a reminder that scale does not have to depend entirely on generating more referrals. Publishers can also develop data products, recurring subscriptions, monetization infrastructure and B2B services around their existing expertise. Gambling.com helped establish the company’s position in affiliate marketing. Grandstand is intended to represent what that business has become beyond it.
