Just days after unveiling its Off Campus collection, Funko is continuing its streak of bringing BookTok favourites to collectors’ shelves, this time turning its attention to the hit LGBTQ+ romance series Heated Rivalry.
The pop culture collectibles company has announced its first-ever POP! figures inspired by the television adaptation, celebrating the fan-favourite relationship between professional ice hockey rivals Ilya Rozanov and Shane Hollander.
The collection features two vinyl figures, with Ilya wearing his Boston Raiders uniform and Shane suited up in the colours of the Montreal Metros, capturing the pair before their rivalry evolves into one of television’s most beloved romances.
Based on Rachel Reid‘s bestselling novel, Heated Rivalry has built a passionate international following thanks to its blend of enemies-to-lovers romance, professional sport and LGBTQ+ representation. The adaptation has become a breakout success among romance readers, sports drama fans and the BookTok community alike, making a Funko collection feel like a natural next step for the franchise.
The figures also continue Funko’s recent embrace of romance-driven television series, following the announcement of its Off Campus POP! range earlier this week.
The Funko POP! Heated Rivalrycollection is expected to arrive in Australia in late 2026, with pre-orders set to begin on the 24th July, 2026. Australian pricing and retailer details will be announced closer to launch.
For fans who’ve been waiting to add Ilya and Shane to their shelves, the rivalry is about to become a little more collectible.
