Last last week, publisher Garena announced that their coming animation of their beloved free-to-play battle royale title, “Free Fire: Daybreak”, will premiere at Brasils’s CCXP26 on 5 December. This special screening will give audiences their first look at the anime ahead of its global release in Spring 2027, followed by a Free Fire: Daybreak panel featuring members of the anime’s production team and DJ and producer Alok.
Also, from 3 to 6 December, visitors can also experience the worlds of Free Fire and Daybreak through activities at the Free Fire booth, with more to be revealed closer to the event.
The rest of the presser can be viewed below. Free Fire: Daybreak’s official website can found over here, and do know that ‘Garena Free Fire’ is a free-to-play title that is available across iOS and Android via Google Play.
CCXP26 will take place from 3-6 December @ São Paulo Expo. You can learn more on how to get in over on their official site.
Free Fire enters a new chapter with Daybreak
Free Fire: Daybreak marks a new expansion of Garena Free Fire into anime. Produced by Garena in partnership with KADOKAWA CORPORATION and animated by studio Candy Box, the series brings familiar Free Fire characters into a new original story.
Directed by Ken Takahashi, with scripts by Hotaru Asafuji and music by Koji Fujimoto, Free Fire: Daybreak follows Kelly, Hayato, and Moco in the futuristic city of New Dawn, controlled by the Horizon Corporation. There, Kelly finds herself drawn into a conspiracy and discovers a newfound superpower.
At CCXP26, members of the production team will share more about the making of Free Fire: Daybreak. Alok, who has been a character in Free Fire since 2019 and remains one of the game’s most popular characters, will also join the panel to discuss his special appearance in the first episode and his contribution to the series’ music. Following the panel, Alok will take the stage for a live performance.

“Premiering Free Fire: Daybreak at CCXP ahead of its global release would already be a remarkable experience on its own. Doing it with Alok, who besides being a part of the game has contributed to the anime’s soundtrack and will perform at the festival on the same day, takes this convergence of games, anime, and music even further. This is exactly the kind of experience we want to give CCXP audiences,” says Thiago Romariz, Director of Products at CCXP.
CCXP26 will take place from December 3 to 6, at São Paulo Expo (Rod. dos Imigrantes, KM 1.5 – São Paulo, SP). Fans can visit the official CCXP26 website for more information on the event and how to attend.
