Need a horror noir fix? Amazon MGM Studios has you covered with a feature film adaptation of the comic Freddie the Fix, reports Deadline.
The project is based on the comic created by Garth Ennis(The Boys).
Freddie the Fixfollows Freddie, a fixer to Hollywood’s supernatural elite, a man with an almost magical gift for making incriminating things disappear.
I haven’t read it, but the character sounds vaguely like F. Paul Wilson’s Repairman Jack. Needless to say, I’m incredibly into the premise.
Lawrence Lamont (One of Them Days) is directing.
Kalen Egan and Travis Sentell will pen the script.
Ninth Circle (the creator-owned horror imprint at Image) launched the series back in December 2024. It is the first Ninth Circle property to head to screen.
Producers are Kimberly Steward and Alex Foster for K Period Media, alongside Kenya Barris for Khalabo Ink Society. Executive producers are Ennis, Jeremy Allen, Lamont, Adam Glass, Michael Bogner and David Stone.
