Fortnite down as new mini-season with a One Piece collaboration is set to go live: Know what new skins and weapons are coming
Fortnite took a break on November 1, 2026, to launch its thrilling new mini-season titled ‘Treasure Hunters’. Incorporating elements from the renowned anime One Piece, this update aims to elevate gameplay. Notably, the player lobby has been adjusted from 100 to 80 participants. Gamers will also gain access to innovative skins and weaponry, including the sought-after Gum-Gum Fruit.

Fortnite went offline on Sunday, November 1, at 1 am ET as Epic Games is set to launch a whole new mini-season in collaboration with the popular anime series ‘One Piece’. The update v43.00 update comes out with the ‘Treasure Hunters’ mini season with several new skins subsequently coming to the game.
The game’s status update account, Fortnite Status, earlier posted on X, saying, “Downtime for v43.00 begins November 1 at 1 am ET with matchmaking ending shortly beforehand.” Fortnite’s Chapter 7, Season 4, which began on August 20, 2026 comes to an end with this update as the ‘Fortnitemares’ Halloween event concludes.

According to North Jersey, the update will be available to play from about 6 am ET, only a few hours after the last event ends.
What is the new mini-season?
The new mini-season, ‘Treasure Hunters’ in collaboration with One Piece which marks the Season 5 of the seventh chapter is one of the very few franchise collaborations the game has released in a while. This is perhaps the reason why the upcoming collaboration is this large in size.
The new season allows players to explore the new ‘Crossbones Isle’, where they will be able to visit the ‘Arlong Park’ and ‘Windmill Village’ from the anime series. However, moving away from the 100-player lobbies, the season will have 80 players in one.
The new season will also bring new weapons. These include the famed ‘Gum-Gum Fruit’, the ‘Flame-Flame Fruit’, Usopp’s slingshot and three swords seen on Zoro in the anime.

With the update A$AP Rocky is also getting his own skin in the game. Players will get the chance to board the $$ Rocky, a new battle ship and a whole new ‘Shock Rocket’. Players will also be able to challenge Rocky as ‘Crossbones Isle’s’ first boss. This update comes on November 5.
Multiple One Piece skins coming to Fortnite in bundles across November
With the November 1 update, players will be able to access Luffy, Nami and Usopp skins in a bundle. Along with this, Nico Robin and Ace come with the ‘Treasure Hunters Battle Pass’ on the same day.
Fortnite revealed that another bundle comes out on November 7, with Zoro, Chopper Sidekick and Sanji. Then Buggy comes in a final November 13 bundle.
Additionally the new mini-season will also feature Mastery Mondays and Treasure Hours Sunday allowing players to gain access to more weapons. The Fortnite Chapter 7 ends with a final event on December 5.
