With our Evo 2026 Las Vegas cosplay video, I wanted to do something different with its production than I’d seen anywhere else in my time covering fighting games.
Our latest clip features side-by-side depictions of the characters from the games, along with the outfits used by the cosplayers, so you can see more of the details and personalities, and help appreciate the work and dedication that goes into re-creating our favorite fighting game characters in-person.
This year’s participants did a terrific job not only visually in terms of their costumes, but many of them also brought some re-creations of their characters’ moves to the video as well, so you get to see some personality and athletic ability too.
