Fortnite is notorious for having a well-informed leaking community, which, over the years, has meant that everything Epic planned to add to the game was revealed ahead of time by anonymous social media accounts

This isn’t ideal for anyone, and we’ve seen a few publishers take steps to root out leakers. In a social media post earlier this year, Epic accused former Fortnite associate producer Hayden Cohen of being responsible for several major leaks

“Today we took legal action against a former contractor who repeatedly leaked confidential partner IP and trade secrets that they received while working with Epic. We absolutely do not allow this and will continue to take action when Epic team members share confidential info. It harms our partners and makes it harder to bring awesome IP to our games,” reads the post

The lawsuit accused Cohen of operating an account called AdiraFN, an alias known for posting reliable Fortnite leaks. This account leaked several upcoming Fortnite collaborations, including South Park, Minecraft, and Overwatch

Now, the case has been settled. According to Game File, both parties agree to a judgment that prohibits Cohen from “possessing, accessing, using, or disclosing any of Epic’s confidential or trade secret
