Following its subtitled premiere on October 11, the series will add new dubbed episodes every week to expand its international reach.
Renewed animation and simultaneous localization in three languages 🎬
This edition of Dragon Ball Super: Beerus is based on Akira Toriyama’s original story and designs and presents an improved version of the God of Destruction arc, with renewed animation and visuals as well as never-before-seen material. The voice cast includes Sean Schemmel, Mario Castañeda, and Wendel Bezerra as Goku in English, Spanish, and Portuguese respectively. The weekly release of dubbed episodes requires coordinating localization teams in three markets at once.
Three Gokus, three languages, and a single weekly schedule 🌍
The question is no longer who is stronger, but which of the three Gokus finishes their episode first. With dubbed premieres every week in three languages, fans will have to choose between waiting for their language’s turn or giving in to whichever subtitle is available. Meanwhile, Beerus keeps sleeping and no one dares wake him to ask his opinion on the schedule.
