Disney Announces ‘The Imagineering Story’ Season 2 on Disney+, Shares First Look Teaser – Watch Now!
Disney Parks fans, get excited – The Imagineering Story is finally coming back for a second season!
The Disney+ documentary series first debuted when the streaming platform launched in late 2019.
During the Horizons: Disney Experiences Showcase on Saturday night (August 15) at Disney’s D23 Expo, season two was formally announced, and they shared a first-look teaser at what’s to come.

What isThe Imagineering Story about?
Creating happiness is hard work. This six-hour saga by Academy Award nominated director, Leslie Iwerks, chronicles the sixty-seven year history of Walt Disney Imagineering, a place best described as equal parts artist studio, design center, think tank and innovation laboratory. This is where an eclectic group of creative people bring ideas to life. They’re responsible for building twelve theme parks around the world – the Happiest Places on Earth.
When does The Imagineering Story season two premiere?
Unfortunately, fans will have to wait until 2028 for season two.
What attractions are being featured in season two?
While season one captured the making of past lands and attractions, season two will “follow Imagineers as they help shape one of the most ambitious periods in Disney Experiences history.”
