Diljit Dosanjh took a break from his Birmingham concert to recognise two fans whose presence at the show came straight after a long day at work. The singer invited two construction workers on stage during his Aura World Tour stop at Utilita Arena Birmingham on September 18, turning the concert into a memorable moment for the duo.
In Diljit’s Instagram post, the two men attended the concert after completing their work shift. Acknowledging the effort it took for them to make it to the venue, Diljit called them on stage and thanked them for spending their hard-earned money on tickets to watch him perform.
The singer then bowed down before the workers as a gesture of respect. The moment was captured on video and shared on social media, where it quickly became one of the highlights from the Birmingham concert.
Diljit Dosanjh shares a heartfelt moment
Diljit continued his interaction with the fans by signing their sweatshirts. He also gifted them something as a token of appreciation before posing for a selfie with them. Rather than simply acknowledging them from the stage, the singer took time out of his performance to personally thank the fans for making the effort to attend the show after a demanding workday.
The Birmingham concert was part of Diljit’s ongoing international Aura World Tour. The singer performed at Utilita Arena Birmingham on September 18, with the venue listing the show as part of his current tour.
The UK leg of the tour comes shortly after another major milestone for the Punjabi singer. On September 12, Diljit performed at London’s Wembley Stadium, where he became the first Punjabi artist to headline the iconic venue. India Today reported that the show drew a crowd of around 92,000 people.

Following the Birmingham performance, Diljit is scheduled to take his tour to Manchester. Live Nation lists his next UK performance at Co-op Live on September 20.
For the Birmingham audience, however, the concert was marked not just by the music but also by Diljit’s interaction with the two workers, who were given a moment in the spotlight after completing their shift.
