Destiny Unchain Online is officially receiving a television anime adaptation. The VRMMO battle fantasy manga is currently serialized on Kodansha’s Magazine Pocket manga app.
The series, officially titled Destiny Unchain Online: How I became the Crimson Devil in English, features an original story by resn, with character concepts and manga by Yachimoto. To celebrate the anime announcement, a congratulatory message from resn and a newly drawn commemorative illustration by Yachimoto have been released.
A VRMMO Battle Fantasy Starring Kou Mitsuki
Destiny Unchain Online follows Kou Mitsuki, a gamer with godlike player skills who participates in a test play session for Destiny Unchain Online, a new VRMMO developed by his father.
However, for reasons unknown, Kou logs into the game as a beautiful girl belonging to the vampire race. Together with a cast of distinctive companions, Kou races through an unpredictable game world in this VRMMO battle fantasy.
Regarding the long awaited anime adaptation, resn expressed gratitude to Yachimoto and the many people involved in the series, offering congratulations to everyone who helped make the adaptation possible.
