Crunchyrollannounced the license acquisition ofPsyrenandThe Eternal Fool’s Words of Wisdom: A Pawsitively Fantastic Adventureduring a panel at Japan Expo 2026, as well as the addition of two French animated productions.

Psyren
The anime will bereleased in Japan in October 2026. It will stream on Crunchyroll worldwide (excluding Japan and China).
Its main synopsis is described by the company as:
One day, high schooler Ageha Yoshina picks up a mysterious “red phone card” left behind in a public telephone booth
A few days later, his childhood friend and classmate, Sakurako Amamiya—who possessed the same card—suddenly vanishes without a trace. J-Novel Club licensed the manga adaptation for English release, describes the main synopsis as:
A couple thousand years of solitude would wear down any young man—that is, anyone except Asley, an eternally youthful and eternally foolish sorcerer. Dreamlandis an anime-inspired French animated series that will be released in October 2026. It was produced byEllipse AnimationandLa Chouette Compagnie.
The series will stream on Crunchyroll in the following territories: North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and CIS.
It is based on the manfra series (manga-inspired French comics) created byReno Lemaire, which has been published by Pika edition since 2006. A total of 21 volumes have been released so far.
