Crunchyrollhas announced the acquisition and North American theatrical dates for upcomingThe Irregular at Magic High School THE MOVIE -Yotsuba Succession Arc-anime film. Itpremiered in Japanese theatersearlier this year on May 8, 2026.
Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment will screen the anime film in the U.S. and Canada for three days on November 1, 3, and 4, 2026. It will be available in both Japanese with English subtitles and in English dub.

The light novel series is written byTsutomu Satoand illustrated byKana Ishida. It was first published under the Dengeki Bunko imprint on July 10, 2011 and ended on September 10, 2020. A total of 32 volumes were published in Japan in September 2020. The series was originally a Shosetsuka ni Naro web novel that was released between October 2008 to March 2011.
A sequel series from Sato and Ishida began in October 2020 and has released 11 volumes as of March 2026.
