Cornerstone has launched Cornerstone Music with Raja Kumari as its first artist and rapper Quake joining the initial roster, expanding into music talent management, original music development and artist growth.

Cornerstone has officially entered the music talent management space with the launch of Cornerstone Music, a new vertical focused on artists, songwriters, composers and producers. Two-time Grammy nominee Raja Kumari has become the first artist signed to the new division, while Bengaluru-based Punjabi hip-hop rapper Quake will also be part of its initial roster.
The agency said more artist announcements are expected to follow as it expands its presence in the music business.
Raja Kumari becomes Cornerstone Music’s first artist
Raja Kumari, known for blending Indian influences with global hip-hop and contemporary sounds, will headline the new vertical’s roster.
Speaking about the association, she said, “I’ve always believed in the power of India to the World. Joining forces with Cornerstone Music feels like the right fit as I celebrate 10 years in the music industry.”
She added, “I’ve always wanted to work with an agency that truly understands how to push the envelope and stay true to the vision. Cant wait to work together and take my brand to the next level! New Album, new direction…this is just the beginning!”
Cornerstone Music will also represent Quake, a Punjabi hip-hop rapper based in Bengaluru.
The artist is known for combining Punjabi identity with global hip-hop influences, bringing together traditional hip-hop roots and contemporary commercial production.
The company said more signings will be announced as it continues building its music roster.
Cornerstone Music to focus on developing talent early
The new vertical is being positioned around talent development rather than only representing artists after they become established.
Cornerstone Music plans to work with artists, songwriters, composers and producers while also developing original music, songs and music-related intellectual property.
Its model will span music, content, brand partnerships, live entertainment, film, digital platforms and the broader culture space.
The agency also plans to explore AI-assisted tools that could help lower the cost of music creation for emerging artists.
According to Cornerstone, the aim is to give young talent access to more affordable tools for writing, composing and producing music without requiring large budgets at the early stages of their careers.
Cornerstone CEO Bunty Sajdeh described music as a space the company had been looking to enter for some time.
“Music has always been the missing piece for us. We’ve spent years building careers in sport and entertainment by backing people before the world catches on, and that’s exactly the instinct we’re bringing to Cornerstone Music,” he said.
Speaking about Raja Kumari joining as the first artist, Sajdeh added, “Signing Raja Kumari as our first artists isn’t a coincidence, it is exactly the kind of talent this vertical was built for.”
Founded by Sajdeh in 2008, Cornerstone currently represents more than 200 talents across sport and entertainment and has facilitated over 800 brand partnerships.
