Pa. (WETM) — The fifth annual Wellsboro Comic Con returns on the second Saturday of August for local comic book lovers
On Saturday, August 8, the Wellsboro Annual Comic Con & town festival will be held in downtown Wellsboro from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The festival is held at the Deane Center for the Performing Arts, the Warehouse Theatre, Central Avenue, and other downtown businesses

Presented by Pop Culture Shoppe, the annual Comic Con is a free event featuring local comic book authors and artists. There are additional opportunities for those who are interested in purchasing VIP tickets that include convention exclusives. A variety of ticket packages can be found here
The Wellsboro Comic Con provides activities such as cosplay, art, vendors, and more. Throughout the event, which will be both indoors and outdoors, there is a wide array of local restaurants’ and food vendors’ menus available

The event will feature local comic book author Brandon T. Snider, who has written works such as ‘Supergirl’s Family Vacation’ and multiple different themed Mad Libs. There will also be comic book artists such as Ethan Young and Will Perkins in attendance
