Get ready, Avengers fans! Actor and Boston native Chris Evans will be one of several celebrities joining FAN EXPO Boston next month. Fans can look forward to exclusive autograph and professional photo opportunities as part of the festivities.
According to a 7NEWS Boston report, FAN EXPO Boston is scheduled to take place Friday, Aug. 7, through Sunday, Aug. 9, at the Thomas Michael Menino Convention and Exhibition Center in the Seaport District. Evans will be on hand to meet his fans on Saturday, Aug. 8, and Sunday, Aug. 9
“This is a historic moment for FAN EXPO Boston,” said Andrew Moyes, vice president of FAN EXPO HQ, in a statement shared with 7NEWS Boston. “Bringing Chris Evans home to meet the fans who have supported him from his earliest days in local theater to his legendary run as Captain America is nothing short of extraordinary.”
Evans, a Boston-area native from Sudbury, is celebrated for his role as Steve Rogers/Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He will reprise the Captain America role in the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday, which is set to release in December
Ticket options start at $40 and include single-day, family, child, premium, and VIP packages. Tickets are available now through FAN EXPO Boston’s website.
