Canva taps SB19 fandom to deepen fan-driven digital creativity

    • Canva is positioning fan communities as creators, reflecting a broader shift toward user-generated content in digital marketing
    • The partnership with SB19 gives A’TIN access to official creative assets, strengthening engagement while addressing demand for authorized fan content
    • Canva says strong adoption among Filipino and Gen Z users highlights the country’s growing creator economy

Canva is strengthening its push into the creator economy by empowering fan communities to produce official digital content, as brands increasingly look beyond traditional marketing and tap user-generated creativity to deepen engagement.

Canva Philippines, together with SB19 and Sony Music Entertainment, rolled out the “Kaya sa Canva” campaign, providing SB19’s fanbase, A’TIN, with access to official design assets, editable templates and creative tools through a dedicated Creative Hub on Canva.

The initiative aims to encourage fans to create content using authorized materials while fostering greater participation in the group’s creative ecosystem.

The Canva-exclusive SB19 Creative Hub features official sticker packs, custom typography and editable templates inspired by the P-pop group.

The initial collection includes photo-booth strip, wallpaper, poster and video templates, with additional assets tied to SB19’s “New Era,” latest single “Lawless,” and editable merchandise and social media templates to be added later.

The campaign also includes an original song, “KAYA,” and a music video highlighting Canva’s design and video editing capabilities.

“The Philippines has one of the most passionate and creative fan communities in the world, and SB19 and A’TIN are proof of what that passion can build,” Canva Philippines country manager Laura Kantor said in a statement.

“When Filipinos love something, they don’t just watch it, they build a whole creative universe around it. With this campaign, we’re handing fans the tools to turn their love for SB19 into something they’ve made themselves, because every fan has a creator inside them, waiting to be unlocked,” she said.

Citing research from global insights provider GWI, Canva said nearly 45 percent of Filipino internet users visited the platform in the past month, with Gen Z accounting for more than 61 percent of its monthly users in the Philippines. The company said the figures underscore the growing role of digital design tools in online communities and fan-driven expression.

“From the very beginning, A’TIN has been at the heart of everything we do,” SB19 leader Pablo said. “Their creativity, passion, and support continue to inspire us every day. Through this partnership, we’re excited to create something together and celebrate the community that has become part of our story,” Pablo added.

The campaign’s original song, ‘KAYA,’ is accompanied with an upbeat music video that doubles as a love letter to A’TIN and a masterclass in Canva’s tools, from drag-and-drop design to Canva Video. Every visual and animation is fan-inspired, a celebration of the creativity, passion, and dedication that’s defined the A’TIN community from day one. Anne Hathaway’s Little-Seen, Short

    By JamesJuly 6, 20260

Acting for a living can take you down some peculiar avenues. Consider Anne Hathaway and Jesse Eisenberg. In the 2010s, they lent their voices to the “Rio” movies as an oil and water pair of blue Spix’s macaws who fall in love. But a decade before becoming animated amorous at-lived dramedy series “Get Real.”
