BLEACH, which was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from 2001 to 2016, tells the story of protagonist Ichigo Kurosaki, who gains the powers of a Soul Reaper after meeting Rukia Kuchiki, and follows the exploits of Ichigo and his companions.
The manga has more than 130 million copies in circulation. The series has also been adapted into video games, while a live action film starring Sota Fukushi was released in 2018. The original television anime aired from 2004 through 2012.

The anime adaptation of the final arc, Thousand Year Blood War, aired its first part from October through December 2022, its second part from July through September 2023, and its third part from October through December 2024.
