Srishti Vyakaranam takes tough decision
Srishti Vyakaranam had to make a tough call during the ‘Temptation vs Tension’ task, and in the end, she left Thrigun without his family letter and a shot at the race to captaincy.
The latest episode of Bigg Boss Telugu 10 saw an emotional moment for the housemates as Srishti Vyakaranam found herself caught between a personal temptation and a difficult game-related decision.
Srishti was offered her favourite food sent by her mother as part of the ‘Temptation vs Tension’ task. But she could only get the food if she created ‘tension’ for another housemate. She had to pick between two contestants and stop one from getting a letter from his family. The contestant selected would also forfeit the chance to race for captaincy contender status.
Srishti has to choose between Vamsi and Thrigun
Bigg Boss gave Srishti two options. Either she could stop Temper Vamsi from getting a letter from his wife, or she could stop Thrigun from getting his wife’s letter.
“Both the contestants would like to get a message from home. So the decision was very difficult,” Srishti said. She pointed out that both Vamsi and Thrigun have daughters and become emotional when talking about their wives and children.
But at last Srishti looked at the decision from a game perspective.
“Last week he (Thrigun) was given a chance to enter the race for the captaincy contender, but Vamsi hasn’t got that chance yet,” she pointed out.
Srishti felt that Vamsi deserved a chance to show that he was a contender, especially since he has not had a chance to compete for the captaincy.
Thrigun misses the letter from his family
Srishti thought on both sides and then decided that Thrigun will take the ‘tension’. Consequently, Thrigun had to sacrifice the letter from his wife and also gave up his chances of becoming a captain.
Bigg Boss then asked Srishti to explain her decision to Thrigun herself.
Srishti explained to him what she did and apologised for taking away something that she knew was emotionally important to him. Thrigun took the emotional talk well.
Instead of blaming Srishti, he told her that he understood the situation and knew that she made the decision as a part of the task. He made it clear that he bore her no ill will for the decision.
Thrigun’s tearful parting from his family
The most emotional moment was when Srishti had to destroy Thrigun’s letter. Thrigun requested a few moments to talk to his wife and daughter before the letter was inserted into the machine.
He then made an emotional speech, saying, “I’ll love you forever. I love you more than yesterday and less than tomorrow.” Srishti too was visibly emotional at the moment.
A duty besides captaincy and food
The ‘Temptation vs Tension’ task turned out to be more than just a simple game of choosing between a reward and a punishment.
For Srishti, it was a choice between the sentimental value of a letter from home and the opportunity to allow another contender into the captaincy race. Her decision changed Thrigun’s status in the game and gave Vamsi the opportunity he seemed to be waiting for.
The episode once again showcased how the Bigg Boss Telugu 10 contestants are pushed to balance personal relationships and emotions along with their strategies inside the house.
