Bigg Boss 20: Mahhi Vij calls out Mary Kom’s ‘respect me’ remark; questions her motherhood and divorce

The tension inside theBigg Boss 20 house escalated after Mahhi Vij and Mary Kom got into a heated argument, with the actress making personal remarks about the boxing champion’s marriage during the confrontation.
The clash began after Bigg Boss asked Mahhi, Uditi Singh and Aasif Khan to name a contestant they felt had contributed the least to the game. The trio was told that their decision could help secure ration for the entire house. While Mahhi and Uditi initially had another name in mind, Aasif disagreed with their choice. Eventually, Mahhi named Mary Kom.
Mahhi Vij and Mary Kom’s clash escalates
Explaining her decision, Mahhi said she had mostly seen Mary involved in cooking and questioned her contribution to the game. Aasif, however, disagreed, pointing out that there were other contestants who had contributed less. The disagreement eventually led to the task being cancelled.
Mary was visibly upset when she learned that Mahhi had questioned her contribution. She confronted Mahhi and Uditi, saying that cooking and feeding the housemates was also a form of contribution. Mary also questioned what the two actresses brought to the table beyond getting ready and wearing new clothes.
The argument soon turned personal when Mary brought up Mahhi’s role as a mother. She pointed out that Mahhi, being a mother herself, should understand how difficult it was to run a household. Mahhi objected to the remark and told Mary not to bring her motherhood into the argument.
Divorce had been a point of discussion
The exchange intensified further when Mary pointed out that she had represented India at the international level. When Rohed Khan called Mary India’s pride, Mahhi responded that the other contestants were also awn experience representing India internationally
Later, when Mary was not around, Mahhi made more personal comments about the boxer. She claimed that she was a better mother and brought up Mary’s relationship with her husband. Mahhi also referred to the couple’s separation while defending her own conduct as a wife and mother.
Isha Rikhi, who was present during the conversation, immediately intervened and asked Mahhi not to drag Mary’s personal life into the argument. She specifically urged her not to make comments about Mary’s marriage and husband. However, Mahhi continued to defend her remarks.
This is not the first time Mahhi has brought up divorce inside theBigg Boss 20 house. Earlier, she had referred to the season as a “divorcee special” while speaking to Isha, after bringing up the personal lives of both Isha and Mary. Both contestants had previously made it clear that they did not want their relationships to define their identities on the show.
