Mixed reality tactical roguelite Banners & Bastions has been released on Quest.

Created by Not Suspicious (Airspace Defender, Tablecraft), Banners & Bastions is a tabletop roguelite with hand-tracking controls available in early access. The recent UploadVR Winter Showcase revealed that it will enter full release on December 15th, with the 1.0 update adding new hero units with unique special abilities, new bestiaries, autumn battlefield biomes, and more.

Version 1.0 follows a continuous series of updates throughout Early Access. Following the addition of controller support in October, last month’s content expansion added a new dragon boss fight and even more enemies. The latter update introduced a new playable Minefield card and two new enemy types, the Witch (ranged) and the Elite Swordsman (melee).

As you defend your kingdom, battles occur across procedurally generated maps, with new waves of more powerful enemies gradually appearing. You can continue to invest in your local economy and fortifications, and your army includes spearmen, knights, archers, and more.

Banners & Bastion is currently released on the Meta Quest platform.

This article was first published on December 5, 2025. Heading and content updated on December 15, 2025, when Banners & Bastions is fully released.
