Dawn Pictures has made fresh claims before the Madras High Court in the Parasakthi case. The production house accused the director of hiding a payment of Rs 4.12 crore in her submission before the court. According to Dawn Pictures, the filmmaker initially agreed to make Parasakthi with 2D Entertainment in 2021. The project stalled under that banner. She then approached Dawn Pictures to take over. Dawn Pictures claimed Sudha ended her contract with 2D Entertainment in December 2024. She received a settlement of Rs 4.12 crore at that time
Dawn Pictures later bought the rights from 2D Entertainment for Rs 5.8 crore. They signed a new deal with Sudha. They have already paid her Rs 8.5 crore. Justice K Kumaresh Babu has reserved orders on the matter
