the pit 9am season 2 episode 3 Editor’s rating 4 stars **** A motorcycle accident brings Dr. Robbie’s midlife crisis into the spotlight. Photo: Warrick Page/MAX Well, let’s leave it to Noah Wyle to write his own version of what Dr. Robbie’s three-month motorcycle vacation is like: a midlife crisis. And not only is he impeccably dressed up by a patient who turns 50 and suddenly dips into rider culture, but he, and we all, get a close-up of what it looks like when he decides to ride his bike without a helmet and his head hits the pavement. It…
traitors plan a coup season 4 episode 6 Editor’s rating 4 stars **** The legendary Round Table finally awakens Lisa, and the entire castle falls into chaos. Photo: Ewan Cherry/Peacock Of course, the question at the beginning of this week’s episode is, “Why is Rob dressed like he’s in a hardware store?” Just kidding. The question is whether someone was killed last night – whether someone took up the shield will decide their fate. If no one had been greedy and stolen what was theirs, the traitors would have had no choice but to let them all live. And sure…
The Eileen Davidson Agreement is signed for Amanda Francis and the mood is somber. Photo: Griffin Nagel/Bravo This week on our favorite show, “Rich Women Doing Things,” wealthy women did different things. Out of five black cars parked in a palatial driveway, they walked to the Range Rover, but since they had the keys to the G-Wagon, they had to get in the G-Wagon…oh, who are we kidding? That’s not possible this week. I have to talk about Amanda Francis. That’s all I want to do and that’s what you all came for. Since her debut on the show, she…
Microsoft is telling the world that the sooner we all switch to using generative AI tools in our daily lives, the sooner we will be 10x more effective ourselves. But the company is still only being adopted haphazardly by video game developers, including some of its own studios. Executive producer Susan Cass told me that the Elder Scrolls Online team has yet to find a piece of development that could use it. “Now we typically use it for things like this,” Cass said, indicating our call. “Many of us use Copilot heavily for meetings, summaries, and organizing our inboxes.” However,…

southern charm in battle Season 11 Episode 8 Editor’s rating 3 stars *** Craig’s refusal to take on the responsibility of leading Sally forward may only force her into an “enemy’s enemy is my friend” alliance with Austin. Photo: Paul Cheney/Bravo There are three things I really want to talk about that aren’t really related to the main story of this episode. So I’m going to ramble a little bit. If you don’t like that, there’s a door there. (There are no doors. Doors are illusions. Neither is the world, nor is this text. Nothing is real. Surrender yourself to…

YouTube Shorts viewers may soon see AI versions of their favorite creators as they scroll through their feeds. YouTube CEO Neil Mohan announced Wednesday that creators will soon be able to use their likeness to create short videos. “This year, you’ll be able to create short videos using your likeness, create games using simple text prompts, and experiment with music,” Mohan wrote in his annual letter. “Throughout this evolution, AI is a tool for expression, not a replacement.” According to Mohan, short videos currently receive an average of 200 billion views per day and are one of the most popular…
fall out uranium fever season 2 episode 6 Editor’s rating 4 stars **** Photo: Lorenzo Sisti/Prime Anyone else remember Pluribus this week? Another very entertaining 50-minute TV show, “The Other Player.” It might seem like I’m sitting on the sidelines with such consistent star ratings, but I think Fallout is a solid 4-star show with little deviation either way so far. Similar moral questions are swirling around the series. Is it really worth saving a wilderness where bloodshed, barbarism, and brutality are so prevalent? But what exactly is our species’ propensity for war? Why does war never change? At this…
