Ariana Grande is seemingly hinting that she wants to spend the rest of her life with Ricky Alvarez.
The singer, 33, rekindled her relationship with Ricky back in June, a decade after they previously dated.
Ariana‘s former backup dancer has been on the road with her for the last few months, keeping her company while she performs on the Eternal Sunshine Tour. During the final show on Tuesday (September 1), Ari made one last lyric change about him and it sounds like she wants to spend forever with him.

Ariana begins the song by referencing all of her exes. She normally sings, “Wrote some songs about Ricky / Now I listen and laugh.”
For the June 24 show in Austin back, Ariana changed the lyrics to, “Wrote some songs about Ricky / Now they kinda slap.” One day later, they were seen hanging out together in the Texas city.
At the next show on June 26, Ariana changed the lyrics to, “Wrote some songs about Ricky, I know he still got my back.” He was in the audience and standing next to her parents in the VIP section for this show.
Fast forward to the July 13 show in New York City, Ariana changed the lyrics yet again. “Wrote some songs about Ricky, we always find our way back,” she sang at this show.
The lyrics changed one final time on September 1.

For those who don’t know, Ariana was previously married to real estate agent Dalton Gomez from May 2021 to February 2023. Their divorce was finalized in March 2024.
