ARC X1 is the company‘s first gaming handheld and comes with Snapdragon G2 Gen 2, a 7-inch 120Hz display, TMR sticks and a 9,300mAh battery.
ARC has launched its first gaming handheld, the ARC X1, in India. The company has developed the device over 16 months with input from its gaming community. The X1 combines gaming-focused hardware with active cooling and OwlOS, an Android-based operating system designed around controller input.
The ARC X1 features the Snapdragon G2 Gen 2 Gaming Platform, built on a 4nm process and paired with 8GB LPDDR5X RAM running at 8533 MT/s. It comes with 128GB UFS 3.1 storage and supports microSDXC expansion of up to 1TB.

The handheld features a 7-inch Full HD LTPS TFT LCD display with a 1920×1080 resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The panel offers 500 nits typical brightness and approximately 100% sRGB coverage.
For controls, the X1 uses TMR zero-drift analogue sticks, Hall-effect triggers and mechanical trigger locks. It also has tactile microswitch ABXY buttons, a microswitch D-pad and two programmable rear buttons.

The ARC X1 packs a 9,300mAh battery and supports 27W USB Power Delivery charging. ARC claims more than eight hours of gaming in Silent Mode, although actual battery life will vary based on usage and settings.
An active cooling system uses a centrifugal fan with rear intake and top exhaust airflow. Users can also customise fan profiles through OwlOS.

The X1 runs OwlOS, ARC’s controller-first gaming operating system built on AOSP. It includes a unified game library, game launcher, native Android gaming, cloud gaming, per-game performance profiles, controller mapping, resolution scaling, FPS overlay and Quick Resume.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4 and USB-C with USB 3.1 and display output. The handheld also features dual front-facing stereo speakers, a 3.5mm headphone jack and noise-cancelling microphones.
ARC X1 Early Access starts October 2 at Rs 29,500 for members of the ARC early waitlist community. The regular price is Rs 33,500.
