Anthony Edwards is one of the hottest names in the NBA today. The 25-year-old has led the Minnesota Timberwolves to multiple postseason appearances and the Western Conference Finals twice.
A 4x All-Star and 2x All-NBA player, Ant has proven himself to be the guy ‘up next‘ in the league. The success he enjoys on the NBA hardwood is analogous to the value his cards hold at auction.
Last night saw not one, but two Edwards cards be realized at auction, and both of the collectibles crossed the $100k mark.
The first was the 2025-26 Topps Chrome Update 1/1. It showcases Ant in his blue Minnesota threads going up for a two-handed slam. This went for <a href="https://goldin.co/item/2026-topps-chrome-gold-refractor-17-anthony-edwards-1-1xuiqq?queryId=eyJxdWVyeUlkIjoiOGIxMGRjMGI3ZTYxMmM5NWRjNzhmZTZhMjgyM2Q5MDEiLCJjYXJkSW5kZXgiOjEsImV2ZW50SW5kZXgiOiJsb3RzLXByb2QtaGlnaGVzdF9iaWRzX2Rlc2MifQ” rel=”nofollow noopener” target=”_blank”>$134.3K on Goldin.
The second is also a 2025-26 Topps Chrome Update 1/1, but this one is autographed by the man himself. Naturally, this Superfractor card sold for a higher price, given that its selling point was a PSA-rated 10 autograph.
It sold for $268,400 on Goldin.
Anthony Edwards Moves the Needle
It would make sense that a young talent such as Edwards would command prices that go well into the hundreds of thousands.
Investing in young talent early in their careers, with the hope of selling their collectibles when they eventually cement themselves as all-time greats, is a good way to establish financial fortitude for the future.
Edwards, while he is yet to bring out millions of dollars from a buyer’s piggy bank with his cards like Cooper Flagg and Victor Wembanyama, has certainly had a few blockbuster sales.
One such sale is his 2020-21 Panini Flawless NBA Logoman Patch Autograph (1-of-1), which sold for $426,000 on Goldin. The number was so inconceivable to Edwards that when he heard about the sale, his initial reaction was, “Somebody bought that?”
The 2020 Panini Flawless Anthony Edwards ROOKIE NBA LOGOMAN PATCH JSY # 1/1 sold for $252kthis past February.
Another is the 2020-21 Panini National Treasures Gold Anthony Edwards Rookie Patch Autograph (RPA) #111, which sold for $222,000 at the PWCC Marketplace Premier Auction.
It’s clear that ‘Ant-Man’ has a market, and the market is doing quite well. It will be interesting to see if any of his cards go for over $1 million in the near future, as this is the one milestone he has not hit yet in the collectibles space.
