Anime merchandise does not usually arrive with built-in GPS, a 2,500-nit display and a claimed 10-day battery life. A new Japanese smartwatch collection based on Super Kaguya-hime! is taking the crossover rather more seriously.
GARRACK’s new collection consists of three smartwatches based on Kaguya, Iroha Sakayori and Yachiyo Tsukimi. Reservations opened in Japan on October 2, with each model priced at ¥39,600 and scheduled for release on October 23.
The watches have a 1.82-inch AMOLED display with a 480 × 408 resolution and claimed peak brightness of 2,500 nits. The watch body measures around 42.9 × 38.2 × 9.5 mm, while GARRACK lists the body itself at approximately 27 g without the strap.
There is built-in GPS alongside GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo, QZSS and NavIC support. GARRACK also lists heart-rate and blood-oxygen monitoring, sleep and stress tracking and more than 100 workout modes. The watches are rated to 5 ATM and IP6X.
Battery life is rated at up to 10 days under normal use, falling to up to seven days under heavy use and four days with the always-on display enabled.

The anime treatment goes further than putting a character on the strap. Tapping the character on the watch face randomly changes the artwork, the background animates every second and the moon-themed battery indicator changes according to the remaining charge.
Each version also has a different song from the film preinstalled. The Kaguya model includes “Shunkan, Symphony”, Iroha gets “Reply” and Yachiyo comes with “Hoshifuru Umi”, with a watch-face shortcut leading to the music controls.
Two models sell through reservations ahead of launch
There is already an early demand signal ahead of the October 23 release. TiCTAC’s online store lists both the Iroha and Yachiyo models as sold out after exhausting their reservation allocations, while the Kaguya model remains available to reserve.
That does not mean Iroha and Yachiyo are sold out across Japan. Retailers have their own stock allocations, and availability differs elsewhere. The retailer-specific sell-through is notable without suggesting nationwide scarcity.

The collection consequently sits in an unusual spot between anime merchandise and a fully featured wearable. Its character artwork and film music are clearly aimed at fans, but underneath are GPS, health and activity tracking, a bright AMOLED screen and multi-day battery life.
For buyers hoping to secure a particular character before October 23, the differing reservation status of the three models suggests that choosing which version to order may already matter.
