Andy Cohen is his own “Jackhole of the Day” after being called out by Julia Stiles on Dancing With the Starsfor past comments about her dancing.
“Julia, I am so sorry,” the Bravo boss said during Wednesday’s episode of Watch What Happens Live hours after Stiles took the dance floor alongside partner Ezra Sosa for the first time — and blew everyone away.
“I am the last person who should be giving anyone feedback on their dancing. Case in point,” Cohen continued, showing a clip of himself dancing at a Grateful Dead concert. “Great job, Julia Stiles. You killed it tonight. You did amazing tonight, I know you’re going to have a great run.”
He concluded, “This diva gives all of you permission to flood my inbox with the ten things you hate about me.”
Prior to Stiles’ quickstep on Wednesday, which was set to Dolly Parton’s “9 to 5,” she revealed that a comment made by Cohen last year was “imprinted in her brain” and pushed her to compete on DWTS.
“Can we all just agree that Julia Stiles is not the greatest dancer on the planet?” Cohen asked during a September 2025 episode of SiriusXM’s Radio Andy while interviewing Kerry Washington, Stiles’ costar in the 2001 movie Save the Last Dance. The Scandalactress defended Stiles during their conversation.
During her intro package on Wednesday, Stiles told partner Sosa that she wants to “win the Mirrorball” then go and “sit on Andy’s couch.” (Seems like she will have an open invite on WWHL!)
After Stiles earned a 18 out of 30 for her quickstep, judge Derek Hough brought it back to Cohen’s remarks.
“Andy Cohen, you can eat it,” he said. “That was beautiful, graceful. You are absolutely beaming. I love to see it.”
Sosa also hit back at critics who’ve said that Stiles can’t dance while chatting with Entertainment Weekly following Wednesday’s live show. “We let it out on the dance floor and Derek Hough said it best,” he told EW.

Stiles has formed a quick bond with Sosa throughout their DWTSjourney, with the professional dancer telling EW earlier this month that they “get along very well” and she takes his criticisms “very well.”
“You can still be hard on me. It comes in waves. You’re so supportive in an amazing way and I know you’re gonna help me shine,” Stiles explained of Sosa. “But dancers are tough and you’re like, ‘You’re late. You’re a whole beat late.’ I want all those corrections because that’s how you get better.”
