With its RTX 5090 configuration, the powerhouse of a machine is only available for £2,041.97, or $2,760. Anyone with the budget would have picked up this deal in a heartbeat, but the person who spotted it skipped it, and he has an excellent reason why.
These days, thanks to the DRAM shortage, it’s not surprising to see RTX 5090 gaming laptops retail for $5,000 and more, unless you’re living in London and happen to stumble upon the same Charlton Currys outlet as Redditor “vietcn” The MSI Vector 17 HX AI equipped with an RTX 5090 is likely running at its highest power limit of 175W since the Vector gaming laptop family has beefier cooling solutions The CPU is an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX, which is plentiful for running a torrent of multi-core workloads.
The large 17-inch IPS LCD resonates a 2,560 x 1,600 resolution, and though the refresh rate isn’t mentioned, we suspect it tops out at 240Hz. The remaining configuration includes 32GB of DDR5 RAM operating at 6,400MT/s, a 1TB PCIe NVMe Gen 4 SSD, and a battery life that can last for about 5 hours, which isn’t sufficient, but this gaming laptop is equipped with an Intel processor after all. Since the person uploading the deal’s images had already upgraded to a new PC, it didn’t make sense for him to pick up the Vector 17 HX AI.
However, we can bet money that he had to fight multiple thoughts and distance himself from this deal, or else he would likely snag it after a couple of minutes.
