WICHITA FALLS (KFDX/KJTL) — Federal charges have been filed against a Burleson man accused of coercing minors on a popular gaming application to send him lewd videos and photographs of themselves.
Benjamin Eric Steven Stonitsch, of Burleson, was indicted in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas for six counts of producing child pornography, three counts of receiving child pornography, and one count of possessing prepubescent child pornography.
According to federal court documents, the allegations against Stonitsch stem from an investigation by the United States Secret Service about an individual utilizing the Roblox online gaming platform to coerce minors to send him sexually explicit images and videos.

The federal complaint alleged that the Burleson Police Department had also been investigating a Roblox user since November 2025 who used multiple screen names on Roblox. Around 80 cybertips were returned in relation to the investigation.
According to the federal complaint, Stonitsch would “target children and attempt to gain their trust,” then “coerce them to perform sexual acts” and “describe in detail said sexual acts to him.” Federal investigators said the minors ranged in age from 6 to 14.
Federal court documents alleged that in August 2025, Stonitsch began a text conversation with an 8-year-old female victim from Graham. Investigators said he would use scare tactics, such as threatening to report the child’s Roblox account or publishing the lewd photos online.
According to federal court documents, Stonitsch is set to stand trial on December 21, 2026, in the United States District Court in Wichita Falls.
