Check back every day for something new, all the way through October 31.
October is a very fun time of year where many people dress up and embrace the spooky side. It has also been a great opportunity to showcase fandoms, many with the seasonal twist. Our Halloween Buyers Guide highlights several products including apparel, accessories, collectibles, and home decor that fit with the holiday spirit.
Halloween Buyers Guide: Apparel
The first collection brings together two franchises that work well for the holiday. Pabst Blue Ribbon (PBR) for the party aspect and Friday the 13th for horror. The collaboration not only spawned a classic PBR 12 pack and wearable Jason mask, but also a limited-edition apparel, glassware, bobbleheads, tap handles, and koozies. The blood splattered clothing line has t-shirts, a hoodie, hats, and even a hockey jersey.
A Nightmare Before Christmas could technically cover multiple holidays so its relevant into December. BoxLunch has an entire collection inspired by the Tim Burton stop-motion animated film. The lineup features tees, jerseys, accessories and more with characters such as Jack Skellington, Sally, and Oogie Boogie.
Modern streetwear company Shoe Palace teams up with Mickey and Friends for an all-new Halloween collection. It takes these fan favorite classic Disney characters and blends them with modern seasonal designs. These fleece hoodies, sweatpants, jerseys, shorts, and beanie show a scarier side of Mickey, Goofy, Donald, and the rest of the gang.
Halloween Buyers Guide: Accessories
It might be something in the air, but villains seem more comfortable during Halloween. You can show your love for the bad guys with Girls Crew Marvel Villains Blind Box. Each box pairs a comic baddie with a fierce icon including Green Goblin and an explosive pumpkin bomb, Doctor Doom and a “D” dangle earring, Magneto and a power-charged metal-inspired stud, Venom and a heart drop, and Galactus and a planet.
Sticking with the villains theme, Pandora has its own Villains charms collection. Choose from Lotso Bear (Toy Story 3), Scar (The Lion King), Lucifer (Cinderella), Ursula (The Little Mermaid), and Maleficient (Sleeping Beauty). Or collect them all. Lotso is even scented.
Halloween Buyers Guide: Collectibles
One Piece has its fair share of freaky looking characters, and the Funko Pop! Mystery One Piece vinyl figures spotlights a few of them. This blind box collection has a 1/6 chance to obtain Monkey D. Luffy, Brook, Brook – glow-in-the-dark, Perona, Ryuma, and Gecko Moria. There is also a 1/72 mystery chase.
The dark fantasy animated miniseries Over the Garden Wall has a very autumnal feel. Celebrate a fruitful harvest with the Pottsfield Pumpkin People in the Over the Garden Wall figure set — Chapter 2. There are a ton of swappable parts and portraits that can even be used with the Wirt and Greg figures from Chapter 1.
Monsters rule supreme during Halloween and that includes the King of Monsters, Godzilla. The All Monsters Attack Soft Vinyl Figure Set — Glitter Variant (DesignerCon exclusive) from Mondo comes with three swivel articulated figures from the kaiju film. Godzilla stands 8” tall, Gabara stands 8.5” tall, and little Minilla stands 3.5” tall.
Halloween Buyers Guide: Decor
When it comes to home decor, some people go even more hardcore than Christmas. Home Depot has a trio of Disney decorations to set up at home to greet all the incoming trick-or-treaters. The 6 ft. Mickey Mouse Pumpkin Musical Inflatable is Airblown that has EmoteGlow that lights Mickey’s face to sing “Monster Mash.”
The 3 ft. Animated LED Stitch has the character dressed up as a mummy and searching for candy. It has servo motors to provide left and right head movements and can be motion activated to deliver five unique pre-recorded sounds. There is an alternate Holiday costume so it can be used for dual season celebration.
The 6.5 ft. Animated LED Maleficent has servo motors that provide five fluid lifelike movement of the mouth, head, eyes, staff, and of her crow Diablo. She can be motion sensor activated to speak five of her classic phrases accompanied by authentic crow sounds.
