A new show from Hololive x Role Critical has been announced! VTubers will take on a full-fledged tabletop role

On October 13th, Cover Corporation announced “Legends Shattered,” a joint project with Critical Role and hololive production. The game is scheduled to be released in mid-November 2026. Card game brand Ultra PRO is participating as a sponsor for this project.

Critical Role is a company that produces content featuring professional voice actors in America North playing tabletop RPGs such as Dungeons & Dragons (D&D).

This project is an actor-play series using the tabletop RPG “Daggerheart” (a program format where the performers play the game as they see it). The story in which the VTubers participate will be incorporated into the canon of Exandria, the world depicted by Critical Role. The game master will be voice actor Matthew Mercer. In addition to Marisha Ray from Critical Role, the performers will be four members from Hololive: Nerissa Ravencroft, Mori Calliope, Shiori Novella, and Gigi Mulin. The casts from both sides will be playing at the same table.

The series will be streamed on YouTube and Beacon. As a mini web series, it will follow the campaign from beginning to end. All episodes on YouTube will have Japanese subtitles. Additional content, such as Episode 0 which covers character creation and background setting, and cool-down talks after each episode, will be available through Critical Role’s monthly subscription streaming service Beacon and Nerissa Ravencroft’s YouTube membership.
