Christopher Judge, or Kratos from God of War series, is coming to Bucharest Gaming Week

    Aurel Dragan31/08/2026 | 16:35

Christopher Judge, the actor known worldwide for his role as Kratos in the God of War game series, is coming to Bucharest Gaming Week for the first time. The actor will be the special guest of the event’s 10th anniversary edition, taking place on November 21 and 22 at Romexpo.

Christopher Judge became one of the most recognizable voices in the gaming world with his portrayal of Kratos in the legendary God of War (2018) and God of War Ragnarök (2022). For his role in Ragnarök, the actor won the Best Performance award at The Game Awards 2022. Outside the God of War universe, Judge is also known for his role as Teal’c, one of the main characters in the TV series Stargate SG-1.

Reaching its 10th edition in 2026, Bucharest Gaming Week has grown steadily since its first edition, held in 2018. Over the years, the event has brought together hundreds of content creators and dozens of brands and has hosted hundreds of competitions, tournaments and experiences dedicated to the gaming community. For its anniversary edition, BGW is preparing its largest event to date.

“This is the biggest edition of Bucharest Gaming Week to date and, at the same time, a turning point for us. After ten editions in which we have consistently built and grown this event, our next goal is to expand its relevance beyond Romania. We want Bucharest Gaming Week to become a landmark gaming event in Central and Eastern Europe and Bucharest to become an important destination on the map of the gaming industry and community in this region,” said Tudor Dăescu, co-organizer of Bucharest Gaming Week.

Alongside Christopher Judge, iSilent and Jimmy Hex, two of Romania’s most popular content creators, have already confirmed their participation at Bucharest Gaming Week 2026.

iSilent is one of Romania’s biggest gaming content creators, with more than 1.6 million YouTube subscribers and a community built around Minecraft. In June, he became the first Romanian gaming YouTuber to have a sold-out show at Sala Palatului. Jimmy Hex is known for his animated storytelling content and humor, which have helped him build a community of more than two million subscribers.

More content creators and guests will be announced in the coming period.

GTA VI at Bucharest Gaming Week, two days after its release

One of the most anticipated releases in the history of the gaming industry is also coming to Bucharest Gaming Week this year. GTA VI will be playable at BGW, marking its first appearance at an event in Romania, just two days after the game’s worldwide release, scheduled for November 19, 2026.

In addition to GTA VI, gamers will be able to play some of today’s most popular titles and take part in dozens of tournaments and competitions with prizes. The line-up will include Counter-Strike 2, EA Sports FC 27, League of Legends, Fortnite and Minecraft, alongside some of the year’s most anticipated games, including Blood of the Dawnwalker, Silent Hill: Townfall, Marvel’s Wolverine, Phantom Blade Zero and Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag Resynced, as well as many other titles.

The anniversary edition will also bring competitions, meetings with content creators, meet & greet sessions, a cosplay parade and numerous experiences prepared by exhibitors for the gaming community to Romexpo.

The main event of Bucharest Gaming Week 2026 will take place on November 21 and 22 at Romexpo, Pavilion B1. Tickets are availablele and additional guests will be announced in the coming period
