One of Detroit’s newest entertainment destinations is about to become a must-visit for Harry Potter fans.

Rather than watching the movie on a traditional screen, families are surrounded by an immersive environment that makes the Wizarding World feel larger than life. Accessible Playground | Community Park in New Haven
Looking for a NEW playground to explore this fall? Head to Community Park in New Haven, where families can check out a new accessible playscape designed for kids of different ages and abilities.
The playground features multiple slides, climbing features and plenty of room for kids to run, climb and play. There are structures designed for both younger and older children, making it a great spot for families with kids in different age groups.
The playground is just one part of the park. Families can also enjoy walking paths, picnic shelters, basketball courts and swings, making it easy to turn a playground visit into a longer afternoon outing.

Fall is officially here whenDeBuck’s Family Farm opens for its annual Fall Festival on September 12th and this year there’s a BIG new reason to visit.
The farm’s NEW Mega Slide is sure to be a hit with kids who love a little adrenaline. The giant slide features a 25-foot drop and 175-foot ramp, giving kids a long, fast ride down the hill. The Mega Slide joins the farm’s already impressive lineup of fall attractions, including the giant jumping pillow, pedal cars, Tire Mountain, sand diggers, wagon rides, Goatville and more.

A NEW place for kids to learn, build and create is coming to Plymouth! Steamojiis a STEM maker academy designed for kids ages 6–14. The hands-on program combines technology, creativity and making with activities focused on areas like coding, robotics, engineering, 3D printing and digital arts.
Instead of simply learning about STEM concepts, kids get to use them to create and build their own projects. It’s a great option for kids who love figuring out how things work, making things with their hands or experimenting with technology.

A visit to the Heritage Park Petting Farm just got even better for little animal lovers! In addition to getting up close with more than 90 farm animals, families can enjoy the new playground located at the Petting Farm. The farm-themed playscape gives kids a chance to burn off some energy before or after visiting the barn.
And, of course, the playground is just the beginning. Families can visit the farm’s goats, sheep, alpacas, ponies, cows, donkeys, rabbits, chickens, pigs and other animals. There’s also a nature pond where kids can look for koi, frogs, turtles and ducks.
September is an especially fun time to visit because the Petting Farm has several special events on the calendar, including Wild Weekend with exotic animals September 12–13and Train Rides September 26–27.

NEW Charity Grown-Up Night Out at The Coney| Detroit
If you’re looking for a date night or adults-only Detroit adventure, check out The Coney, a brand-new fundraising event benefiting youth arts education in Detroit. The Coney takes over the Detroit Opera House on Saturday, September 26 at 8 PM and features Detroit-connected celebrities, comedy, music, unexpected games and plenty of hometown personality.
The star-studded host committee includes Kristen Bell, Dax Shepard, Marc Evan Jackson, Tim Meadows, Sam Richardson, J.K. Simmons and Diona Reasonover, with more surprise guests expected.
