Original Article – 15:06 BST:Fortniteplayers are reporting that the servers are currently down for the popular free-to-play battle royale shooter from Epic Games.
There is no clarification as to why the Fortniteservers are down at the time of writing. It could be something as simple as server maintenance, and hopefully, nothing sinister.
The issue appears to be widespread across most platforms, including PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch. The website DownDetector has reported issues, as have gamers on social media.
