The Little League World Series continues Thursday morning in Williamsport with two elimination semifinals, as Japan faces Nicaragua and Ohio takes on Iowa with spots in Saturday’s championship games at stake.

Japan vs. Nicaragua — 9:00 AM ET
Japan and Nicaragua meet at Volunteer Stadium in the International semifinal, with the winner advancing to face Curaçao in Saturday’s International Championship. Japan stayed alive with a 7-3 victory over Canada on Wednesday, continuing its run through the elimination side of the bracket after an earlier loss to Curaçao. Nicaragua, representing the Latin America Region, is looking to rebound from Wednesday’s 12-3 loss to Curaçao.
Ohio and Iowa square off simultaneously at Lamade Stadium in the U.S. semifinal, with the winner moving on to face Nevada in Saturday’s U.S. Championship. Ohio, representing the Great Lakes Region, rolled past Alabama 11-2 on Wednesday, while Midwest Region representative Iowa is coming off a 14-6 loss to Nevada.

Both games were moved to 9:00 AM ET because of expected severe weather in Williamsport. Japan-Nicaragua will air on ESPN2, while Ohio-Iowa will air on ESPN.
