Summer isn’t over just yet, at least not for Toronto’s pop-culture fans.

Fan Expo Canada 2026 is taking over the Metro Toronto Convention Centre from Aug. 27 to Aug. 30, bringing four days of celebrities, comics, cosplay, gaming and fandom to downtown Toronto.

The annual convention has become a major fixture on the city’s summer events calendar, drawing fans from across the region for a weekend dedicated to movies, television, comics, anime, gaming and other corners of pop culture.

Whether you’re showing up in costume, hoping to meet a favourite actor or simply looking to browse the convention floor, there are plenty of ways to take part.

Four days of fandom in downtown Toronto

Fan Expo gives attendees the chance to move between a packed schedule of programming, celebrity appearances and fan-focused activities throughout the weekend.

Cosplay remains one of the convention’s biggest attractions, with attendees dressing up as characters from their favourite movies, television shows, comics, video games and anime. For many fans, the costumes are as much a part of the experience as the celebrity appearances and merchandise.

The convention floor will also give attendees plenty to explore, from comics and collectibles to artwork, merchandise and other fandom-related finds.

A star-studded guest list

As always, the celebrity lineup is expected to be one of the biggest draws.

This year’s announced guests include a mix of recognizable names from film and television, with appearances from:

Single-day tickets start at $41, while multi-day passes start at $139. Family passes are available starting at $87, and youth single-day tickets start at $36.
