The cult classic story Ranma 1/2 is in the midst of getting a new adaptation on Netflix. Based on the 1987 manga series of the same name by the legendary Rumiko Takahashi, this is just the latest onscreen adaptation of the story. So, when can you plan on the arrival of the release date for Ranma 1/2 Season 3 on Netflix?
Ranma 1/2 is the story of Ranma Saotome (Kappei Yamaguchi), whose life is turned upside down when he accidentally falls into the cursed springs of Jusenkyo. Forever after, Ranma is transformed into a girl when they come into contact with cold water, and then back into a boy when they come into contact with hot water. The series also stars Noriko Hidaka as Akane Tendou, Kouichi Ymadera as Ryouga Hibiki, Rei Sakuma as Shampoo, Kaori Nazuka as Ukyou Kounji, Miami Takayama as Nabiki Tendou, Kazuhiko Inoue as Happousai, Cho as Genma Saotome, Tomokazu as Sugita, Kikuko Inoue as Kasumi Tendou, Souun Tendou as Akio Ootsuka, Toshiyuki Morikawa as Toufuu Ono and Kenichi Ogata as the Narrator.
The Ranma 1/2 Season 3 release date is October 3rd, 2026 on Netflix. Currently, the number of episodes in Ranma 1/2 Season 3 has not been officially stated, however, both previous seasons consisted of 12 episodes apiece. The season is expected to debut new episodes one at a time on a weekly basis. It will have been about a year since Ranma 1/2 Season 2 debuted on Netflix on October 5th, 2025. And of course, there are a plethora of small screen release dates you’ll want to keep in mind this autumn.
