SAKAMOTO DAYS Season 2 Character PV Unveiled

SAKAMOTO DAYS Season 2, scheduled to air in January 2027, has unveiled a new character PV and the Season 2 Teaser Visual Other Version. The character PV focuses on three new characters appearing in Season 2: Amane, voiced by Kikunosuke Toya, Etsuko Satoda, voiced by Misa Watanabe, and Yotsumura, voiced by Shinshu Fuji.

In the video, JCC student Amane, who harbors deep hostility toward the Japanese Association of Assassins, known as the JAA, declares, “The era of the JAA is over. A rotten bunch like that should all just die,” before launching into intense action with a four section staff.

Etsuko Satoda, the longest serving teacher at JCC, is also shown saying, “You all fail. You really shouldn’t do anything so dangerous,” as she instantly throws Shin using aikido.

Yotsumura, who was once the No. 2 figure in the JAA and was involved in the founding of ORDER, says, “We have to be tasteless and odorless, with an invisible intent to kill,” before engaging in deadly battles with Shishiba and Nagumo.

The video offers a glimpse of the distinctive personalities and overwhelming abilities of the three characters, all of whom will play major roles in the story of Season 2.

The newly unveiled visual retains the composition of the Season 2 teaser visual, with Sakamoto and Shin standing back to back. This time, Sakamoto holds a ballpoint pen while Shin raises a gloved fist, creating a tense image that suggests both are preparing for the battles ahead.

The words “Sakamoto’s Days” appear prominently in the background, accompanied by a distinctly Japanese inspired design featuring black clouds.

The powerful visual evokes Sakamoto and Shin’s determination as they embark on an undercover investigation at JCC, the fierce battles awaiting them, and Sakamoto’s heartfelt desire to protect his peaceful everyday life at all costs.

SAKAMOTO DAYS has been serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump since November 2020. The assassin action story follows Taro Sakamoto, a former legendary hitman who fights alongside his companions against assassins closing in on him, all to protect the peaceful life he shares with his beloved family.

The manga has surpassed 18 million copies in circulation. In 2025, the anime’s first cour aired from January through March, followed by its second cour from July through September.
