Fortnite Override will finally land on August 20 after months of speculation as to what it might include.
Chapter 7 Season 4 is officially Fortnite’s ‘<a href="https://comicvibe.com/why-indie-games-are-the-next-big-tech-investment-gaming-ceo/” title=”Why indie games are the next big tech investment: Gaming CEO”>gaming legends’ season, bringing a wide variety of recognisable video game characters to the game as unlockable/purchasable skins.
Below are all of the collaborations that are confirmed so far, which have either been shown off in promotional material or spotted in the background of some teasers. At the time of writing, we don’t know which skins will be included in the battle pass and which can be bought separately.
All of Fortnite Override’s gaming legends so far
Sonic, Shadow, Knuckles, Eggman and Tails from Sonic The Hedgehog
Starting with the headliners, Sonic, Shadow and Knuckles are all joining the battle royale, though they’re not the realcharacters. In lore, they’re actually robot replicas, which explains their odd proportions. Dr Eggman will get a skin, with Tails joining the fight as a sidekick.

Crash from Crash Bandicoot
Fans have already had their say on how ugly this version of Crash looks so far, but hopefully he’ll look better in-game.
Spyro from Spyro The Dragon
Alongside Crash comes Spyro, who won’t have his own skin, but will instead be a sidekick.
Joker from Persona 5 Royal
This one has been years in the making. Finally, Joker from the all-time great game Persona 5 Royal gets his own Fortnite skin. What a way to steal our hearts.
Sora from Kingdom Hearts
After finalising the Super Smash Bros Ultimate roster, Sora’s next stop before Kingdom Hearts 4 is the battle-royale island, though he’s missing some of the Disney branding for whatever reason.
Tetris from…Tetris
While not having a specific skin, Tetris is getting a customisable ‘inspired’ skin that makes certain characters look blocky.

Mega Man and Rush from Mega Man
Capcom’s blue bomber is getting more than a skin; his Megabuster will also be a new Mythic weapon you can find on the island. His robot dog sidekick Rush will also join the fray.
V from Cyberpunk 2077
Technically, we already have a V skin in the game, but it’s the female V. Now the male V has been spotted in the background of some shots, and joining him will be some Mythic weapons from Cyberpunk 2077.
Pac-Man and the Ghosts from Pac-Man
Like some of the other gaming legends, Pac-Man is a little too small and oddly-shaped to be a skin, so he’ll also be getting the sidekick treatment. The ghosts Blinky, Pinky, Inky, and Clyde have also been spotted, but it’s unclear what their role will be.
That rounds off the list for now, but don’t expect all of these legends to drop into the game all at once.
Epic Games will likely stagger them in the Item Shop across the season, as it’ll need space for returning gaming legends like Master Chief from Halo, Tomb Raider’s Lara Croft and the survivors from Peak, to name a few.
All of those characters and more have been spotted in the key art, so this season will be handy for picking up skins you missed out on when they were initially released. Hopefully this means the Resident Evil skins are also making a comeback…
