Moria (August 14)
While we typically wouldn’t lead off with a biographical series about an Argentine TV hostess, this boundary-breaking dive into the life of Moria Casán is something very different. It’s a hallucinatory cosmic fantasy that jumps through time, with multiple actresses (including her own IRL daughter) playing Casán. Early reviews are universally positive, noting the hyper-stylized sets and costumes.

Freefall: A Reckoning for Boeing (August 19)
A crashed plane. A murdered whistleblower. What happened to Boeing, once the crown jewel of the American atumultuous culture of corporate cost-cutting that brought the company to an all-time low. Featuring tons of interviews from whistleblowers and ex-employees, this is a withering critique of capitalism that needs to be seen
Outer Banks: Season 5 (August 20)
Sometimes you just want some junk food to binge on, and Outer Banks has delivered four seasons of just that. The series, now in its fifth and final season, follows the adventures of kids from the wrong side of the tracks in a North Carolina beach town as they hunt for treasure and handle increasingly difficult situations. Season 5 finds the Pogues seeking revenge for the killing of one of their own.
